Workout With More Energy

Author: admin

Everyone works out to look and feel better right?  Otherwise, what’s the point?  So, are you sure you’re getting the maximum results from your training session?  Are you working out when YOUR energy is high, or just when it’s convenient to your schedule?

I understand that scheduling can be a bit of a problem in today’s world, but if you aren’t working out when your personal energy is jumpin’ then you may not be getting the maximum benefit from your training routine.

I know a lot of people who go to the gym first thing in the morning (like bright and early before the sun rises almost).  However, these people aren’t morning people and they’re literally dragging their butts into the gym because they feel like they just want to get it over with, off their mind and get on with their day.  But their energy is low because they’d rather be in bed.  These same people feel a surge of energy at the end of their workday but since their workout is already done, don’t bother to take advantage of this surge.

I’ve trained people for whom the complete opposite is true.  They have barrels of energy first thing in the morning but feel that the time they have to spare only exists at the end of the workday, at their lunch hour or later in the evening.  I’ve discovered that many people feel a huge drain of energy once the sun goes down so trying to work out in the evening in the dark (even in a lit room) can be very exhausting.  If they’d only worked out when their personal energy level was high, upon waking, they might have found out that they can pour a lot more into their efforts and get a much better workout as a result.

I even have one friend that prefers to do her training session at midnight.  Sure, she sleeps til 10am, but her energy just isn’t there until much later in the evening.  So she works out right before bed.  Be careful with this tactic though, because many people find that a really late workout ramps them up too much to get to sleep afterward.

Personally, I’m not a morning person, but I also find that a workout before the workday starts gets me a good hard energetic training session and also gets me ramped up for a great workday with my brain firing on all cylinders.

So, I sleep a little later, workout mid-morning, and my workday is officially from about 1pm until about 9 or 10pm.

Sure, I’ve got the luxury of being able to schedule my workday around when my personal energy levels are optimized.  I realize not everyone is able to do that.  Some people hold jobs that expect them to be there from 9am until 5pm (or whatever shift work might be dictated).

To those people I can only suggest to keep an eye on when your personal energy levels are at their highest, and then adjust your personal schedules around your workday so that you can get your time at the gym in when you can optimize for the most energetic workout possible.

For instance if you’re a morning person who’s been working out at the end of your workday, get up earlier, hit the gym and get it going on.  If you’re an evening person who’s been dragging your butt into the gym first thing in the morning, sleep later, go to work and hit the gym afterwards or later in the evening.  It’s ok if you stay up a little later, because now you’re sleeping later.  Right?

So, make sure your workout is the best possible by scheduling your time at the gym for when you personally have the most energy, not when some textbook says is the best time.  That will ensure you get the best workout possible.

Heavy Bag Workout Routine

Author: admin

In this article I am going to share with you one of the best workouts and pieces of equipment for the home. Besides shadow boxing which is one of my favorites. The next best thing to have for your home is the heavy bag for a heavy bag workout routine. Here is why.

You have probably thought about this problem. Having a home gym, bench press, or weight machine in your home. What if company comes over? A bench press in the living room does take away from the decor of things. But what about convenience, health, and fitness? We do not have a spare workout room. So I started thinking mobile!

I get up in the morning to do my home workout. I incorporate as much Muay Thai as possible. Muay Thai elbows, knees, shadow boxing, etc. The heavy bag was the solution.

1. You can hide it in a closet or hide it in the corner. Take it in the garage, upstairs, or move it wherever. It is totally mobile for when you have guests. But comes back out for the ground and pound every morning.

2. The workout is awesome. You can sit on top of it and do Muay Thai elbows. Helps work the stomach too. You can practice punching while on top. You can practice side knees. Great workout in itself.

3. Use it just like a bench press. I use my dumbbells and lay on the heavy bag and do dumbbell presses. You get the full range of motion in your shoulders. You can also do dumbbell butterflies. Again, you get the full range of motion while on the heavy bag.

4. Your stomach muscles get hit too. Because it is a round bag your muscles work to stabilize your body. You can also turn and sit different ways to do crunches and sit-ups on the bag. You could add small weights if you wanted to do weighted sit ups. Or just use the heavy bag to anchor your feet under to do sit ups.

The heavy bag workout routine is so versatile. When you are done you simply move the bag out of the way! You will be happy and feel like a champ. Life is good! You will have worked your stomach, arms, and done knees and elbows. If I only knew what a great workout the heavy bag was on the ground along time ago. So don’t hang it-throw it on the ground and start your ground and pound.

Creative Ideas for Adorning Your Pet Headstone

Author: admin

The experience of losing and having to bury a pet is nothing short of traumatic. After all, pets are a part of your family and many people feel the loss every bit as much as they do if they lose a person in their life. For this reason, many people opt to plan memorial services and funerals for their pets, to honor and share their pet’s life and loss with the people around them. This is a critical step in the healing process.

When planning a pet memorial ceremony, there are many small details to consider, including aspects of the burial. Many people opt to use pet headstones at their pet’s graveside for a more formal marking of the grave site. There are many different types and styles of pet headstones available on the internet that can be personalized to beautifully express the unique characteristics and personality of your pet.

However, beyond what you carefully choose to have engraved on the headstone, there are many other things you can do to make the pet headstone more meaningful during the pet memorial ceremony. Similar to human grave markers, there are a number of creative things you can do to further personalize your pet’s grave marker.

During the service, place some of your favorite framed pictures around the headstone as well as a smattering of your pet’s favorite toys and trinkets. Drape your pet’s favorite blanket over the headstone for the service or bring your pet’s favorite kennel or bedding to place alongside the grave site. Many people choose to light an eternity candle for the service as a symbol of their pet’s eternal life. Some pets even enjoy music, so you can play their favorites during the pet memorial ceremony. You can do as much – or as little – as you feel comfortable doing for your pet memorial service. The point is to convey as much of your pet’s personality as possible through the service and decoration of the pet headstone.

Once the service is over, you can regularly place fresh flowers at your pet’s grave. However, it is not a good idea to leave anything that can spoil or deteriorate in exterior conditions over time. Anything that you leave graveside should be as natural as possible, which is why flowers are the best and most common options for headstone decor. Each pet cemetery will have their rules for what you’re able to leave graveside so be sure to check with them. They do all vary. Keep this in mind when choosing a pet cemetery or other location to lay your beloved pet to rest. Weigh the pros and cons with careful consideration. Some pet cemeteries will provide you with their own lanterns or electric candles that they will also maintain for you.

Again, decorating or adorning a pet headstone is a matter of personal preference and style. You should do whatever makes you feel comfortable and honors your pet with dignity. The point of the service is to remember how much love and joy your pet brought into your life, therefore everything you do to prepare for it should reflect that same range of emotion.

How To Do Warm Up Exercises and Cooling Down

Author: admin

In the present world with its emphasis on fitness, quite a large proportion of the population is involved in physical exercises. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary that one should fully understand the importance of warming up before undertaking any strenuous activity. I have found that many persons repeatedly ignore going through the warm up stage before the actual exercise because of lack of knowledge about the adverse consequences of not warming up properly. And cooling down is given even less importance, so much so that even those with reasonable common sense think that it is not necessary at all and the body will take care of itself on this issue. Alas! this is not true. Let me emphasize that warming up before exercise and cooling down after it are just as important as the exercise itself.

As I said above, warming up and cooling down are important parts of any exercise programme. You will ask, “Why warm up?” Let me explain. Warm up exercises are absolutely inescapable before carrying out  rigorous exercise. A proper warm up helps in increasing the supply of blood to the muscles. It also assists the body in making a smooth change from a state of rest to that of activity and in the process prevents injury, soreness and  stiffness. Several changes takes place in the body when it enters the activity mode. The respiration rate goes up and along with it there is a sharp jump in supply of blood, oxygen and nutrients to the cells. This rate of increase must be regulated to prepare the body for the physical stress that exercise will demand. If the body proceeds into sudden activity without warm up, the result will adversely affect its functioning and cause a sub-par performance. Proper warming can go a long way in helping you avoid injuries and improve performance. It gives the heart a suitable period to adjust and pump up required blood and nutrients into muscles. Warming up is vital and more so for older people, since they have weaker hearts and sudden activity can produce heart attacks. By properly warming up the muscles and joints with some slow paced simple movements for 5 – 10 minutes, one avoids injury and builds endurance over time.

How does a person warm up properly? Initially, it can be done in any procedure that enables the heart to beat faster. You should practice warm-up exercises for 5 – 10 minutes at the beginning of an exercise session. Those advanced in age may need a longer period to warm up as their  muscles and joints are less supple and flexible. Low intensity aerobic movements such as brisk walking, swinging the arms, or jogging are the best. One should start at a gentle pace and then slowly increase it until the rate of heart beat increases and the body temperature rises. What is important is that the pace should be in accordance to one’s current fitness level, so that the activity will leave the person energized, not exhausted.

After working up a light sweat (suggested time is 5 to 10 minutes depending on ambient temperature and age) one should do some simple stretching exercises. Stretching exercises help in developing overall flexibility, particularly in the spine, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. Be certain that the major muscles groups are stretched for 8 seconds minimum. It is necessary to keep the feet moving or do leg exercises whenever the upper body is stretched in order to prevent blood from pooling in the legs. A word of warning here. You should do stretching only after the muscles are warmed up and moreover never bounce while stretching since this leads to a contraction that may result in muscle damage.

The kind of stretching should be based on the type of activity a person plans to engage in. For instance, if one is about to play sports, the recommended kind of stretching would be the ones that are similar to the movements that will be done in the court or field. For example, weight-lifters should load the bar with about 50-60% of the heaviest weight planned to be lifted in the session. This should increased to 80%, then eventually to 90%. Take short rests in between the warm up lifts. After this warm up, one can now proceed to the heavy lifting for the day. The advantage of rehearsing the procedure is that the heavy sets will feel less daunting and can now be performed with considerably ease and less stress.

After warming up and proceeding to the main workout, it is equally important to cool down. Cooling down after exercise by walking slowly, then stretching muscles, prevents strains and blood pressure fluctuation. Applying brakes suddenly to your strenuous activities results in sharp reduction of  blood pressure and is dangerous especially for the elderly. When a person stops exercising or lifting weights suddenly, blood gathers in the muscle and oxygen supply gets blocked. When this occurs, that  person is in risk of suffering from muscle  pull, tear or cramps or even a heart attack.  So cooling down should be properly done and given the same importance as warming up.

Exercise is good for health. Everyone should be encouraged to do some form of exercise. But please remember the necessary precautions not only to stay safe and healthy and obtain the full benefit of exercising, but also to maximize the performance level .

Stay At Home Mom Looking For Work At Home Opportunities

Author: admin

A stay at home mom was traditionally a mother whose job was to stay at home and care for the family. Housekeeping and bringing up kids were recognised to be a full time job. A mother’s place was in the home. The father would be the sole breadwinner and the family would be able to live comfortably on one income.

In those days it was not unusual for a stay at home mom to take on a part time job at home to alleviate boredom as the kids grew up and started school. The mother’s extra income was not needed for essentials, so it would be used to pay for treats for the family.

Nowadays things have changed dramatically and stay at home moms are not looking for work to do from home to pay for treats. They are looking for home jobs because the family needs a second income to keep up with the cost of everyday items.

In today’s world, few ordinary families can survive on a single income. Many mothers have to choose between going out to work or seeing her family deprived of the everyday essentials. The need to supplement the family’s income drives many mothers to look for work they can do at home.

In addition to the extra income, there are many advantages for mothers who work at home. The first big advantage is being able to stay home to take care of the family. Some other advantages are:

Saving on expenses. There is no need for a work at home mom to invest in a separate wardrobe of outfits for work. They also save the cost of commuting and the cost of day care places for the children.

Shorter working hours. A home based job means a mom won’t be spending time on dressing and putting on make-up to go to work. No time is wasted on commuting between home and work every day.

Some women who want to work at home are lucky enough to have the sort of job they can transfer to a work from home basis. This is ideal for many kinds of virtual assistance posts. A background in customer services work can give women an advantage when looking for home based jobs.

Mothers working at home at a familiar job for an existing employer have the extra advantage of not needing training. A new mother would struggle to find time for training. Just attending to a new baby’s needs can swallow up the whole day. If she can turn her existing employment into a home based job, the change can be virtually seamless; this will obviously benefit the employer as well as the employee.

Negotiating the transfer of an existing job to a home based job is probably the easiest way for a stay at home mom to find work at home. Unfortunately, there are many jobs that would be impossible to do from home. There are also numerous bosses who would be be agreeable to letting their employees work from home. This means many moms (and moms-to-be) will have to rely on their own initiative to find ways to make money at home.

Lose Weight the Healthy Way

Author: admin

Weight is an issue for countless people around the world and many of these individuals are keen to do whatever they can to reduce their weight. Sometimes it may seem as though everyone has a quick fix solution for weight loss, but a quick fix rarely means a permanent one. Despite adverts suggesting that pills or potions have been discovered to help people drop pounds effortlessly, the advice given by most doctors and health professionals remains the same: to lose weight sensibly and effectively, follow a sensible easting plan and increase your activities.

Losing weight the healthy way doesn’t have to be a chore, however. Beginning with a close look at the food you’re putting in your body and ranging to hiring a personal trainer, there are a large variety of ways in which to fight the flab in a way that either doesn’t impact your life greatly or adds to your enjoyment of it.

Diet is of course the first area to look at when attempting to lose weight and calorie counting works for many people. It is also important to remember that the body needs certain nutrients, including carbohydrates and a certain amount of fat, to do its job properly – it’s only when these foods are eaten in excess that they can add to weight concerns. Eating a large number of fruit and vegetables as well as sticking to as many unprocessed foods as possible is a great start to losing weight in a healthy manner.

Paying attention to diet is one big step in shedding excess weight and the other big change that can make a difference quickly is increasing exercise routines. This can be as simple as making sure that a brisk walk of at least 30 minutes is incorporated into every day or can be as complex as the creation of a strict exercise regime that targets different parts of the body.

A surprising number of people attempt to lose weight by diet or exercise alone; for a truly successful weight loss plan these two steps are best made in conjunction with each other, as that way people are more likely to learn healthy habits that will stick with them for life.

There are a myriad of benefits to improving your health by losing weight sensibly, from being able to fit in to your favourite pair of jeans to saving money on your health insurance. What’s more, when you choose to follow a reasonable diet and boost your weekly exercise time you’ll find that your energy levels receive a boost too, making it even more likely that you’ll keep active and keep the weight off – sensibly.

P90X Workout Turned Me From A Couch Potato To A Superhero

Author: admin

I don’t know if you’ve been following my articles on the P90X workout – maybe you have, maybe not. To recap quickly in case you missed them: my girl told me in no uncertain terms a few months back that it was high time I got off my padded butt and did something about the spare tire round my midriff and the love handles on my hips. Of course, I told her it wasn’t my fault I was getting flabby an’ wobbly in all the wrong places. Secondly, I told her it was really none of her business either.

Well, if you’re a guy, and you’ve got a girl, then you’ll know straight off that I was skating on dangerously thin ice with both those statements. It was my fault, she yelled – too much junk food, beer, an’ lying around watching TV! Secondly, (and this one hurt) it was her business cause she was my girl! But lately she’d been thinking that maybe it shouldn’t be her business anymore and she could make that happen at any time by just walking right out the door and never looking back! The choice was mine, she said.

Ouch! That hurt.

And then, the final thrust of the sword to my heart: “Look at your best friend! He’s been doing this P90X workout thingy and just look at how sexy he’s become. Why can’t you be like him?”

That was the worst cut of all. Let me tell you a little secret right here and now: It’s not only us guys who like the look of a sexy gal. No, sir. These days girls’ heads are just as easily turned by the look of a sexy guy. And in their book what’s more sexy that a guy with ripped muscles and a well defined six pack? I mean, if you were a girl, and you had the choice between 2 guys to go out with, who would you choose: Mr Out-of-breath Beer-Belly-Flab with burger sauce on his chin, or Mr Sexy Six-Pack with the big smile who’s bouncing around and can’t sit still for more than 5 minutes because he’s just got too much energy? It’s a no-brainer, right?

So I took the challenge and signed up for the P90X workout. Why? Because my best buddy was prancing around like Mr Universe after just 60 days of following their workout and nutrition plan. Okay, I’ll grant you my buddy wasn’t quite as badly in shape as I was when he started out but, underneath all my doughy flab, I knew I actually had a better physique than my buddy. It was just kinda buried under all that blurry fat.

That’s when I made a secret pact with myself: I was going to sign up for the P90X plan, and I was going to work my butt off. And after 90 days I was gonna have a body that would knock the socks off my prancing big shot buddy. And, oh yeah, the best part? I was going to win back the respect of my girl.

Sure, it was a tall order. And yeah, it was hard work. But you know what? – the P90X workout does work! And I’ve got the body to prove it. Did I end up having a better physique than my buddy after following the workout and nutrition plan for 3 consecutive months? You bet your cotton socks I did! And did I get my girl’s respect back? Too dang right! These days she looks at me in a whole new light – like she’s seeing me for the first time, know what I mean?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot – the superhero thing. I was so chuffed with my new body that on Day 90 of my workout, I celebrated by going out to one of those rent-a-costume places and rented me a body-hugging Spiderman suit. That night when my girl came round, I was reclining on the bed all casual like, lounging in my tight fitting red and blue superhero spandex outfit – which left absolutely nothing to the imagination, if you catch my drift. She took one look at me and let out a little gasp of shock. Suddenly her eyes narrowed, her cheeks flushed, and her lips parted. “I prefer you in your birthday suit,” she said, voice all quivery and husky and breathless.

“Shall I turn off the lights?” I said, knowing exactly where this was going. She shook her head and bit her lip. “Ooh no, I want the lights on. Definitely on!”

You know what, I’ve just been thinking…. I don’t want to make any crazy claims or give unrealistic guarantees. For example, I can’t guarantee that you’ll end up wearing a superhero spandex suit and that your girl – or your wife – will end up practically ripping the clothes from your body and ravishing you (for want of a better word). That was just my own personal experience. What I can promise you is this: if you sign up with those guys at P90X and you stick with their program for 90 whole days, you’re in for the ride of your life, dude. I mean it. Heads will turn. Women will swoon. The whole shebang. If you don’t believe me, try it for yourself by going here: http://getrippedbody.info

How To Lose 20 Pounds In 30 Days

Author: admin

You can lose 20 pounds in 30 days.

I’ve done it. And seen it multiple times.

In this article I will reveal the single secret.

It is easy. Very easy.

And it works so wickedly effective that I would put it in a “head to head” contest with any one of the most popular diets.

Atkins, South Beach… Doesn’t matter.

The striking thing is… it will cost you not a single dime. Just your sworn, undivided, “each and every day” commitment. If you can do that then you can lose 20 pounds in 30 days. If you can’t, then you are NUTS… period!

The secret is found in one boring five letter word… BASIC.

It is a word that tends to strike fear into the hearts of most “magic pill” seekers. But do not be fooled, “BASIC” packs one hell of a flab shredding knock-out punch.

Here’s what it means…

Basic as in only what’s PROVEN to work. Nothing else.

And when it comes to losing weight, not cutting carbs, eliminating fats or starving yourself has ever once been proven to cause lasting results.

Key word “lasting”.

It means that it is flat-out stupid to lose weight if it is all going to come back.

What has been proven to cause fast, lasting results is your diet. What you eat. And food consumed in its most natural state. No additives. No preservatives. Always works best.

Basic as in simple.

That means you don’t need to focus on consuming different foods every day.

Just place your attention smack-dab on a handful of foods you enjoy. Oh ya, just one rule… They can’t be doughnuts, pies, cakes or cookies.

A perfect choice would be a spinach chicken salad.

If your goal is to lose 20 pounds in 30 days, then who cares about turning your diet into a barrage of foods found from all corners of the globe. Keep it simple. I’ve found the best results come from consuming the same simple foods two to three times per day. Every day.

Perhaps it is not the most exciting thing… but it works like gangbusters.

Basic as in repetition.

The single greatest secret of all.

Without consistency you can’t lose weight fast. It’s like building a house. You stack one brick on the next until the house is build.

Most people will start eating right, exercising and then will quit after only one week. Bad move.

When you lose weight the results tend to compound.

That means they get sweeter and sweeter with time.

If you keep stopping and starting again your body never has the chance to get in the “groove”.

You will never lose 20 pounds in 30 days.

*** Need To Lose Weight Fast? ***

Here’s a simple 5 step fat loss guide that will show you how.

How To Choose The Right Plastic Surgeon

Author: admin

Getting plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery is a big and potentially life-changing decision. It should not be taken lightly. It is a personal decision that should be made with thoughtfulness and care. Its also elective and you dont have to have it so take your time. Choosing the right plastic surgeon or cosmetic surgeon is perhaps the most important part of the process. Chicago plastic surgeons are highly qualified and eager to serve you, ensuring that you get the precise results that you’re looking for. They can help you achieve what you want.

The first step is to gather information on all of the plastic surgeons and cosmetic surgeons available in Chicago Illinois via the web, friend referrals, any means possible. Spend time researching various plastic and cosmetic surgeons perusing backgrounds, credentials, experience and more. Your appearance is important to you and how you relate to the world so you’ll want to find someone you can trust. Check to see if the plastic surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has at least five years of surgical training and experience. Medical training and surgical experience are the primary indicators of a surgeon’s qualifications; the more experience, the better. Any licensed physician can technically claim to be a plastic surgeon, thus the importance of board certification – take thought into this. Also check into what school he or she attended and where he or she performed his or her residency training. Plastic surgeons in Chicago only operate in accredited medical facilities, so you can trust that you will receive only the highest quality of treatment and service. Remember this is elective – you don’t have to have surgery – so make an educated decision on deciding what’s right for you.

The next step is to visit several plastic surgeons Chicago. Many offices will set up a free initial consultation especially with a down economy. This is the time to trust your gut instinct. Ask a lot of questions and request to see photos of the surgeon’s previous work. Before and after photos are a good indicator of how well they can do the job. After each consultation, write down your thoughts and feelings so that you can keep track of the various surgeons that you have visited. Take good notes. This will help you to get an overall feel of the professionalism and demeanor of each plastic surgeon that you are considering. Review the office, the office staff and your surroundings.

Dont be pushed into making a decision. Take time to think over your options and share your thoughts and feelings with your friends and family members. They can help you as well. If you sense that one of the plastic surgeons that you meet doesn’t match with your personality or you feel uncomfortable, do not hesitate to remove that person from your list. Choose a plastic surgeon that is confident and willing to answer your questions and takes the time to talk with you. Your personal relationship between you and your plastic surgeon must be built on both trust and professionalism.

Chicago plastic surgeons practice with the highest standards of quality and excellence. They will go the extra mile to make sure that you’re both comfortable and satisfied. Chicago is the right city to begin your search.
